It is graduation party time! Last year, we went to 11 graduation parties. Can you believe it? This year, we have only one and it is one I am very much looking forward to.
In honor of all the graduates, I have a little dessert plate idea to share. Let’s think graduation caps and tassels. It is a simple little touch to add to your party and can be customized to fit your graduate’s school colors.
You Will Need:
- Square (or squarish) plates. I used Hefty’s foam plates from Walmart.
- Yarn, color of your choice
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Wide Spatula (why, you ask…watch the video)
It takes a couple minutes to complete each tassel. If you have invited a large number of guests to your party, be sure to pop in a movie while you’re making these.
Here is a video to help you make the tassel:

actual effort to generate a great article… but what can I
say… I hesitate a whole lot and don’t manaqge to get anything done.
