When I was a Wedding Planner, I was always on the look-out for creative touches to make my clients’ weddings fun and unique. A traditional guest book was something I never really went for. I only imagined it sitting in a box somewhere and never being looked at again.
The Shutterfly Scrapbook was fun and a little more useful. The bride creates a digital scrapbook with engagement photos or other cute pics and leaves pages open for guests to sign or write a message.
I also loved the Coffee Table book idea where the couple chooses a book based on their interests (ie. if the couple loves to travel, they may select a world travel book). Then, guests are invited to sign wherever they like on the pages of the book. The intent being this is a book that the couple may still leave out years down the road.
But when I saw the guest book ideas on Sarajane Case’s blog, I was so excited! Fun, fresh, creative and customized ideas for today’s bride. My favorites are the Fingerprint Tree and Postcard Guest Book. You must check them out!

I agree, guest books are there not just as keepsakes for the bride and groom, but also to entertain guests. I searched for similar guest books in bridal shops in las vegas and everywhere else. There are so many awesome ideas out there.
I made my own guest book during my wedding. I used a scrap book for it. It didn’t cost me much, and it turned out fine.
