Making an Invitation of Choices For Someone You Care About:
Who will you give it to? Your spouse, your child or teen, a friend on their birthday or in from out of town, a family member . . . .
What kinds of choices can you give? My husband gave me the choices of when, who and where. The possibilities are endless! Have fun and be creative. You could let your guest choose transportation (bike, car, walk), what series of activities you’ll do or even the restaurants for a progressive dinner. Just provide the options.
I think this would be a lot of fun for a child to receive . . . a way to give them full control of the day. Maybe have several days in a row where each of your children get their own invitation to determine what the family does or eats on their particular day. A teen may look forward to a special day with one parent where they are able to choose all the activities (hunting, video-gaming, shopping, salon trip, whatever!).
An Invitation of Choices is something you can do for a special occasion like a birthday or on any ordinary day, just to make it special!
Now, would you like to:
A. Grab a Cup of Coffee
B. Grab a Diet Soda
C. Grab Some Chocolate
D. Grab Some Fruit
I’m thinking B and C!
