Today is National Pancake Day at IHOP. They will be giving a free short stack of pancakes to all customers and in exchange, ask you to consider making a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Go here for more information about National Pancake Day or here to find a local IHOP.
While we can’t make it to an IHOP, we will be enjoying Dan’s delicious pancakes for our dinner. I love breakfast for dinner! How about you?
Looking for something different to do with your pancakes? We love Recipe Girl’s Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. They are a special treat and one we’ve made when hosting brunch at our house. I found these fun animal pancakes on Pinterest from Rikshaw Design – adorable! And last but not least, you may want to check out what special ingredient Heather at Creative Family Moments adds to her pancakes. All I can say is YUM!
When in doubt, add some quick fruit, food coloring, jam or even ice cream and chocolate syrup (guess you better have a real dinner first if you’re going to do that tonight!).
And finally after dinner, we’ll be rounding out our evening by reading this book given to us by dear friends: Curious George Makes Pancakes.
What fun things do you do with your pancakes?

Cinnamon Roll pancakes? Gonna go check those out. I completely forgot about the Curious George book… that’ll be fun!
