You are in for such a sweet treat today (and it isn’t even Valentine’s Day anymore). Not only are we lifting up our husbands in prayer, but Kathi Lipp, author of Praying God’s Word for Your Husband, is joining us today to share her Post-It Note Challenge.
If you have been spending the week with us, let me just say thank you! I so wish we could relax in my living room and stand in agreement in prayer over our husbands and families, together. I have been praying for the requests you left on Day One and it is an honor to do so. Thank you.
Today, we’ll be praying for God’s Plan for our Husband’s Life and Dreams.
Day Five: (from page 145)
If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. (Job 36:11)
Above all else, Father God, I pray that we would obey you. Help my husband to follow your direction. Help him to serve you and to do the things you want him to do. I pray the activities of his day would be under your command and authority. Help him to submit to your leadership knowing that the result will be blessings from you. Bring him prosperity and contentment that come only from serving you.
And before we share Kathi’s fun Post-It Note Challenge, don’t forget: today is the last day to enter to win a copy of Praying God’s Word for Your Husband. Two winners will be chosen. Go Here to Enter the Giveaway.

Please pray for my husband/marriage. He has an extremely intense job that he is preoccupied with. It is very stressful, yet he loves what he does. The salary he earns has made me be able to be a stay at home mom for our 5 and 2 year old. But I worry that it’s at the expense of his health, weight, stress level, and joy, let alone his relationship with God! I need to worry about nothing and pray about anything. Prayer would be appreciated because I am so emotionally close to the situation. Thank you and God bless!
Oh dear Vanessa, I will most definitely stand with you in praying for your husband, marriage and direction for his job. I pray for his peace in the midst of chaos, for his wisdom in handling difficult situations with ease, your relationship to grow stronger without this added strain, for his health and for discernment in knowing if a different direction is needed or not. I also pray for both of you that this will draw you closer to the throne, that you will find peace in God’s strong presence and mighty love.
“Then they cried out to the Lord in their Lord, and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and his wonderful deeds to men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” Psalm 107:7-9
Thank you for sharing your request. You and your husband will be in my prayers!
