Grateful in a Sense

I am grateful for the sound of the humidifier in our room.  It sounded like a soothing, gentle rain.
I am grateful for the sight of my 98 year old grandmother, eyes closed in worship, lips mouthing the words as she listened to “In the Garden.”
I am grateful for the smell of a pumpkin candle, ushering in all things Autumn.
I am grateful for the touch of my 3 year old who climbed in my bed, put her arm around me and said let’s hug and stay like this every day and every night.
I am grateful for taste of leftover birthday cake from the freezer.  I have two kids to celebrate.
What are you grateful for today?
