If you’ll spend the next 31 days with me, I am confident that you will laugh a little more, act with others in mind and even enjoy a little silliness . . . and most definitely, you will break up the busyness of your life with intentional little moments of fun.
Simple Way #1:
Sing. Yes, sing. The only trick to today’s task is that you have to sing to someone else. If you have children, you’ll get off easy. Just grab them and bellow out a little tune. If not, you’ll have to be more creative and resist the urge to protect your dignity. Have fun and while you’re doing it, smile . . . you’re gearing up to celebrate life.

Love this series, Kristen! I do have kiddos… but they all beg me to stop when I start singing! I don’t want to hurt their feelings but I think they must have hearing problems. ( ;
Anyway, I have to be creative- I’m starting to get a reputation as people see me bopping & grooving in the car in public. (I always forget people can see me – 2012 goal: tinted windows.)
Heather, I can’t tell you how often I hear, “Please don’t sing Mommy.” Usually, it is when I’m singing WITH music so I just keep telling myself that they just want to hear the words from the artist. 🙂 And for the tinted windows, I always like seeing someone happy in their car. . . as long as they’re staying on the road. 😉
I going to have to fallow this!! Love this concept… and I sing to everyone… my children now bust out in song often… today was to the baby in the store “you dont always get what you want” 🙂
