Thanksgiving night is winding down.  Just like the turkey, you are now stuffed.  The food was delicious, the desserts amazing and now you just want to go take a nap, right?  Wrong!  Not in my house.

About 9pm every Thanksgiving, our teenage (and now adult) nieces and nephews come rolling in for a night of games, junk-food (as if we needed more) and crazy fun.  And I love it!  They stay up all night playing games and being silly.  Usually a little after midnight, I go up to bed for a short nap before the girls and I head out for Black Friday shopping in the wee hours of the morning.  But my husband is right there with them goofing off.

It is a special time to build memories, bond and just enjoying catching up away from the busyness of life . . . and something to look forward to each year.

Who could you have over for a Thanksgiving game night?  Do your guests stay late?  Pull out the games and enjoy some friendly competition.

Oh and in case you were wondering, our all-time favorite game to play is Mexican Train Dominoes.  We love it!  And if you’re considering braving the crowds to shop, go here to read the why you too should experience the adventure of Black Friday.
