Graduation Party Tassel Dessert Plates

Graduation Party Tassel Dessert Plates

It is graduation party time!  Last year, we went to 11 graduation parties. Can you believe it?  This year, we have only one and it is one I am very much looking forward to.

In honor of all the graduates, I have a little dessert plate idea to share.  Let’s think graduation caps and tassels.  It is a simple little touch to add to your party and can be customized to fit your graduate’s school colors.

You Will Need:

  • Square (or squarish) plates.  I used Hefty’s foam plates from Walmart.
  • Yarn, color of your choice
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Wide Spatula (why, you ask…watch the video)

It takes a couple minutes to complete each tassel.  If you have invited a large number of guests to your party, be sure to pop in a movie while you’re making these.

Here is a video to help you make the tassel:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. Aw, this was a very good post. Spending some tie and
actual effort to generate a great article… but what can I
say… I hesitate a whole lot and don’t manaqge to get anything done.
